Signature interiors
Looking for the best painters in Thornhill?
Thornhill's mature, well-kept homes reward finish work that respects existing trim, earlier paint layers, and the way light hits hallways and formal rooms. Homeowners here often ask who will protect floors and furniture, who will cut clean lines on heritage trim, and who will still answer while the job is underway. Pelican Painters Inc. is based in neighbouring Vaughan and regularly serves Thornhill as Signature interior work. We are family-run by owner Tuviya. We paint, and we quote in writing before work starts.

What Signature means in Thornhill
Signature work in Thornhill means interiors that respect mature housing stock: proper prep on previously painted surfaces, careful cut lines on trim, and clean protection in furnished homes. It is not a claim that Pelican is the only custom painter in York Region, and it is not Essentials pricing language.
The neighbourhoods on this page are the ones we regularly paint: Old Thornhill, Royal Orchard, Brownridge, and Grandview. The work runs from heritage trim to crisp modern interiors. We do not add further neighbourhoods or street-level project stories here.
If your priority is a value full repaint outside the Signature cities, ask for Essentials. If your priority is custom interior finishing in Thornhill, ask for Signature.
Public 2026 guides often cite about C$2.50 to C$5.00 per square foot for typical professional interior work. Competitor room guides often show about C$450 to C$850 for a standard bedroom with walls, ceiling, and basic prep. CostCanada's Vaughan page shows a wider spread of about C$2 to C$8 per square foot, with an average near C$4 (fetched October 1, 2026). Pelican does not publish a per-square-foot rate. Simple bedroom refreshes start from $450 (empty room, four walls, standard paint); most rooms cost more depending on size, prep and finish. We give a fixed written price after seeing the space. These guys did a great job patching 2 large holes in the drywall after a shower leak. Painted everything and cleaned up before leaving.
Really happy with Pelican Painters. Tuvie was responsive from the start, gave clear expectations, and the quality of the painting was excellent. The team showed up when they said they would, worked efficiently, and the final result looked great.
I had an amazing experience with Tuviya's painting company. His team painted my entire house and the results were outstanding. They were professional, efficient, and paid attention to every detail.
